As experts in the field, we view it as our role and responsibility to advise our clients on best practices in biomedical publications. In doing so, we aim to position ourselves and our clients as leaders. By implementing best practice in publications, we avert risk to our business, our clients and the authors we support.
As proponents of the highest ethical standards in publication development, we have been reviewers, and we are strong advocates of, good publication practice guidelines (GPP3). We are also long-term supporters of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP).
To bring clarity to our stakeholders, CMC Connect and our IPG Health partner agencies have developed a position statement on the publication of company-sponsored data in the biomedical literature. This statement describes the principles to which we adhere, and acts as a baseline for aligning with our clients’ perspectives on publications.
